Back from the trip! Shopping wasn't as great as I expected it to be unfortunately, and neither was Ocean Park bleh. We exited the park after 1 hour cos the rides were so disappointing! Should have known that what was fun to my primary 4 self wouldnt be as great now, especially after experiencing the awesome theme parks in Aussie and usa. Esprit was a major disappointment as well, first time we came out of the shop in less than 1 hour and empty-handed too. Only good stuff was the food lol, Hongkong cuisine never fails to leave us wanting for more.
And omg it was a trip full of harrowing moments. We kept losing stuff!
1st time - mums forgot to collect the liquor before they boarded the plane but luckily there was enough time
2nd time - they thought they left a bag at a shop when it was with me in the changing room
3rd time - I left a shopping bag with $300 worth of purchases in a shop and didn't realize until much later. Ran like mad to find and LUCKILY the shopkeeper returned it to me. Super scary that experience
4th time - Aunt thought she lost a kate spade bag she just bought for her daughter and flew off like a rocket when we were frantically trying to tell her that my sis took it already lol. We had to shout really loud for her to register the fact lol
Lol the 3rd time really made my heart stop for a moment I swear. I constantly checked the bags like some paranoid person after that incident lol
Christmas deco @ HarbourCity, it's kinda like Ion I think, but even bigger

Cousin and I secretly hid our mums' liquor in our room when we checked in hahaa

Me - *buying iphone covers*
Mum : you have an iphone meh?
Me : Eh, no hehe. I'm HOPING
Aunt : Aiya just buy back la! Then show your papa, say - papa i buy the covers but don't have anything to put in leh. how? very wasted yknow'
Everyone : HAHA

My aunt just loves to tease me I don't know why lol. But she accompanied me to get my shoes when no one else would! Wanted to go back to this shop the next day cos there wasn't any stock, but they were all too lazy to go down with me. But it was love at first sight and to think that I have to go back to Sg without that pair of shoes would be so wrong! Was even willing to travel there alone but mum wouldn't allow lol. Lucky aunt was sympathetic to my cause, and even encouraged me to get a second pair tsk. She calls it 'xian1zhan3hou4zhou4'. I call it 'risking-death-at-the-hands-of-my-mother'
I love the breakfasts the most!

Fried pig trotters that we brought back to Sg for dad and bro lol

Crazy crowd at the famous Claypot store @ Nanren Jie, tucking into a side dish while waiting for the claypots to arrive

New York Fries @ Harbour City, oh I like their CitySuper section in the mall. Would have explored it more but too bad there wasn't enough time

Even more food, lol what a gluttony post

Spot me in the queue! Waited for super long to buy the famous waffles that are shaped like egg cartons but it was worth it

Street fare for supper! The mango desserts from Shui Liu Shan (did i spell it correctly?) are a MUST TRY

pigeons and ducks they wanted to bring back to SG lol

Random interesting stuff, especially the title of the poster, totally WTH? And a 3 levels Bossini lol

Was a good trip all the same, cos it's always the company that matters anyway =] Especially now that I don't see my aunts, cousins much, it's great that we get to spend time together having fun on a trip. I hope next year's destination has more amazing theme parks though, unless the universal studios one at Sentosa is going to be super good. Anyone wants to sponsor an annual pass for me? If it's good I wouldn't even mind playing truant to go play haha

( 4G CHALET! =] )
Damn shagged and there's training later =/ I think I have this curse related to Hongkong. This is the second time I've sprained my ankle right before a trip there lol. Luckily it isn't serious this time and my ahma has some magical brew that made it ok in just one day yay. Please let me get home in one uninjured piece today!

First song on the playlist this Sunday is CRY ME OUT by Pixie Lott!
( Cry Me Out Lyrics )
'Found' this new great singer via Last.fm last week and she has since been added to my top fave female singers! She sounds a bit like Duffy but more pop

Went cycling with Woosie yesterday lol we've been cycling faster and faster each Saturday. The wind in your hair and the speed really feels good =] Saw some cool new gadgets that people were trying out, some modified scooter and the waveboard that Yixiang has just that it's split into two and shaped like a vertical hoop? I wanna inline skate again too, and learn to brake properly for once lol.
Haha this should be worth a read, just for the fun of it -

I can just imagine the millions of fangirls throwing insults in forums over this book, but too lazy to go check out if it's really happening.
Feel like sleeping in late but I just can't bah. Sometimes I really wish I can sleep a whole day away but since I lack that natural ability I wish I can get sleeping pills, but I doubt the sleep will be good.
Meanwhile have got a few books from the library, gonna choose two to read on the flights because I always can't fall asleep (really need those pills one day). Halfway through Choke, it's quirky to say the least lol. The protagonist "pretends to choke in upscale restaurants and gets "saved" by rich diners who, feeling responsible for his life, offer him financial support". Human manipulation at work.

Hm hopefully at least one of them is a fantastic read, haven't come across one since Shadows Of The Wind last year.

About three things I was absolutely certain. First, Edwart was most likely my soul mate, maybe. Second, there was a vampire part of him–which I assumed was wildly out of his control–that wanted me dead. And third, I unconditionally, irrevocably, impenetrably, heterogeneously, gynecologically, and disreputably wished he had kissed me.
And thus Belle Goose falls in love with the mysterious and sparkly Edwart Mullen in the Harvard Lampoon’s hilarious send-up of Twilight.
Pale and klutzy, Belle arrives in Switchblade, Oregon looking for adventure, or at least an undead classmate. She soon discovers Edwart, a super-hot computer nerd with zero interest in girls. After witnessing a number of strange events–Edwart leaves his tater tots untouched at lunch! Edwart saves her from a flying snowball!–Belle has a dramatic revelation: Edwart is a vampire. But how can she convince Edwart to bite her and transform her into his eternal bride, especially when he seems to find girls so repulsive?
Complete with romance, danger, insufficient parental guardianship, creepy stalker-like behavior, and a vampire prom, Nightlight is the uproarious tale of a vampire-obsessed girl, looking for love in all the wrong places.

Celebrated the end of PW yesterday with Jess and Tzuhsiang! We finally had a day when all of us were free lol
First time for me at Cafe Cartel so they gave me the honour of slicing the bread loaves for them -. Jess trying to melt her butter in the 2nd pic, foodie Tzuhsiang being very happy with her food lol

Settler's Cafe @ SMU! We went there wanting to get the lunch deal from 12-2pm but they opened at 12.30! And we found out that it was much more worth it to pay for the 2-6pm students deal @ $6.60 only! Comes with free flow of drinks.
First game - UGLY DOLLS! Reflex game and it got us shrieking like mad, was a tad embarrassing because we were the only customers but heck, all inhibitions thrown aside to win the game haha

Played SLAMWICH! which was similar, and a REALLY boring game called TransAmerica cos the person kept wanting to give us strategic games when we specifically said we don't wanna use our brains haha.
4th game - JENGA, which was a very pointless game. In the end we went against the rules of the game to make it more fun

5th game- SQUEEKY! More fun, it involves chasing the other players' mice and eating them up haha. We know now that Jess is frigging lucky with dice!

Played Cranium and it's a bit like Smart-Ass but a thousand times more difficult!
7th game - HEDBANDZ! Basically theplayer with the headband asks Yes/No questions within a limited period of time and guess what the card is. Super retarded haha

Last game - Also called JENGA, it's the predecessor of Uno stacko I think? Tzuhsiang's a pro!

Gave ourselves a challenge -

Not bad for 4 hours of fun, though we think that we kinda annoyed the person in charge with our very short attention spans haha. Kept changing games cos we couldn't find brainless, adrenalin-pumping games that last more than 10 minutes! Maybe by the next trip we will go through all the games on the shelves haha
Oh and received a MMS from cousin! Leiya's got a brother now! He's called Zejun!
